1. Accepted Payment Methods
We offer multiple secure payment options for your convenience:
- Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover
- Debit Cards: Accepted if issued by Visa or MasterCard
- PayPal: Fast and secure payments through your PayPal account
- Apple Pay: Seamless checkout on Apple devices
- Google Pay: Quick payments via your Google account
- Shop Pay: One-tap checkout through Shopify's accelerated payment system
2. Currency
All prices on trynovima.com are displayed and charged in United States Dollars (USD). If you pay with a card issued in a different currency, your bank will convert the amount at their prevailing exchange rate. Any foreign transaction or conversion fees are set by your bank, not by Novima.
3. Taxes
- United States: Applicable sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address and local rules.
- United Kingdom & European Union: VAT, where applicable, is shown at checkout before you complete payment.
- Other countries: You may be responsible for local import duties, customs fees, or taxes charged by your country on delivery. These are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
4. Payment Processing
- Every payment is routed through trusted third-party gateways, including Shopify Payments and PayPal.
- Card details are encrypted during transmission using industry-standard SSL.
- Novima never sees or stores your full payment information.
5. Authorization Holds
When you place an order, your bank may place a temporary authorization hold on your card for the order amount. If your order is cancelled or not approved, this hold is released automatically — typically within 1 to 5 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Order & Payment Confirmation
After you place your order, we send an order confirmation email. A separate payment confirmation follows once the transaction is approved. If anything looks incorrect, contact us right away so we can fix it before dispatch.
7. Order Cancellation
- You can request a cancellation by contacting our support team at contact@trynovima.com.
- Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. To cancel, please contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 12 hours of placing the order.
- Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for next steps.
8. Payment Security
- Our entire site is protected with SSL encryption.
- We are PCI-DSS compliant through our payment providers.
- We follow industry standards to safeguard your personal and payment data.
9. Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed. The most common reasons are insufficient funds, incorrect card details, a fraud-prevention block from your bank, or a mismatch between billing and card address. If this happens, please contact your bank first, or reach out to us and we'll help troubleshoot.
10. Chargebacks & Fraud
If you don't recognise a charge from Novima on your statement, please contact us first before opening a dispute with your bank. Most issues (name on statement, split shipments, authorization holds) can be resolved within one email.
